Ashford Golf Club continues to give a warm welcome to all new members. We cater for all ages and abilities so that everyone is able to find their own niche. At Ashford we endeavour to make every new member feel at home straight away. It is easy to make new friends very quickly through the number of regular weekly swindles that take place - you just turn up at the appointed time, put your marked ball in the hat, four balls are drawn out at a time, and then off you go with your new golfing chums.
There are active sections for Ladies, Veterans and Juniors. For the talented male golfer there is the East Kent League which you can represent the club in and for the rest of us there are several friendly matches that are played on a home and away basis throughout the summer which normally begin in the afternoon and are followed by a meal - this is a great opportunity to meet players from neighbouring clubs. There are many club competitions throughout the year, ranging from informal monthly medals and stablefords to the many competitions that are played for trophies and the distinction of your name being added to the much valued ‘Honours Board’.
You can also enjoy food and drink in our Clubhouse bar along with attending the many social events we hold throughout the year.
