The Golf Club Committee advise you of the following rules for Dress Code whilst at the Club
Directors, staff on duty and the club's professional will govern the interpretation of smart casual, and you are asked to respect their decision if approached. “Smart Casual” permits the wearing of smart unripped jeans and training shoes in the Clubhouse. Members are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure that their guests are fully aware of the rules, and they are followed throughout their visit to the Club.
ON THE COURSE-
* Shirts (Men): Recognised Golf Shirts, with collar, or turtleneck shirts to be always worn and tucked into trousers/shorts whilst on the course.
* Shirts (Ladies): Ladies’ shirts may be worn as designed.
* Trousers (Men/Ladies) : Must be tailored. No denim, drawstring waistband or external “cargo type” pockets. Smart jeans are allowed on the practice and putting areas only.
* Shorts (Men): Men’s shorts to be tailored with no denim, drawstring waist, cargo or similar styled shorts, and worn with socks. No beachwear of any sort.
* Ladies: Shorts, skorts and dresses to be tailored and worn with socks.
* Socks: Socks of various lengths are permitted but must be visible above the shoe.
* Headgear: To be worn correctly i.e. with peak facing forward.
* Shoes: Recognised Golf shoes made and designed for the purpose are to be worn on the course.
ALL OF THE ABOVE APPLIES WHEN USING THE COURSE, PRACTICE AND PUTTING AREAS
CLUBHOUSE, LOUNGE, DINING ROOM AND BALCONY-
* Smart casual attire should always be worn.
* All headgear to be removed to include hoods.
* Dress shirts can be untucked from trousers/shorts if so fashioned.
* Golf clothing can be worn but must not be wet/muddy. No waterproof suits or beachwear of any sort.
* Golf Shoes: Soft spiked/dimple golf shoes can be worn providing they are clean and dry. Metal spikes are not permitted. NO golf shoes are permitted in the dining area when attending a sit-down meal.
* Open toed footwear e.g. sandals, sliders etc can be worn with or without socks.
